Meet Katora
My name is Kathy, and I’ve been reading Tarot since 1986 as KATORA—hence the name Readings by KATORA. KATORA actually comes from my initials, with an A added at the end for the feminine. I was born and raised in New York, which means I’m pretty direct. I don’t beat around the bush. I will ask you one important question: Do you want to know everything that comes through? Tarot has been part of my life for 40 years. Over that time, I’ve used Tarot and other oracles to help people better understand what is happening in their lives, see their situations from a different perspective, and navigate what comes next. Tarot is my go-to tool—but it isn’t the only way information comes through. I am clairaudient, or “clear-hearing,” which means I may hear words, messages or information that comes through during a reading. I am clairsentient, or “clear-feeling.” I can often sense another person’s emotional or physical state through energy that I experience in my own body. And I am clairvoyant. Sometimes, I simply know. Over the years, some pretty crazy things have popped into my head—sometimes years before they eventually proved to be true. For me, Tarot provides a point of focus. The cards help us look at what is happening around you, while my intuitive senses help me perceive what may not be immediately obvious. But the purpose of a reading isn’t for me to tell you how to live your life. It is to help you see more clearly, understand what you’re experiencing, gain perspective and decide how you want to move forward. The answers you seek are within you. I’m here to guide you to them.
